Salicylic acid for scalp and dermatitis

How to prepare and dispense 100 ml of Salicylic acid lotion.

FORMULA:

Salicylic acid......2 g

Castor oil............1 ml

Ethanol 96% sufficient to produce................. 100 ml

PROCEDURE:

1. Dissolve the salicylic acid in a portion of ethanol (96%)
2. Add castor oil.
3. Add ethanol (96%) sufficient to produce 100 ml and mix.

STORAGE:

Preserve in a well-closed container.

USES:

• Analgesic
• To treat skin dermatitis
• Dandruff
• Acne
• Warts and calluses
