Make Potassium permanganate lotion for wound care

How To prepare and dispense 100 ml of Potassium permanganate lotion.

FORMULA / INGREDIENTS:

Potassium permanganate.......... 0.1g

Purified water, sufficient to produce.............. 100ml

PROCEDURE:

1. Triturate potassium permanganate with purified water.

2. Add sufficient purified water to produce 100 ml.

STORAGE:

• Preserve in a well-closed container.

USES:

• It must be freshly prepared.
• Dilute with 7 parts of water or as directed before use.
• Antiseptic
• For wound care (Apply on unbroken skin)
• KMnO4 acts as an oxidizing agent
• It can stain your clothes
